A Glamorous Paris Birthday Party
I have been really excited to share this party with you all. When our Bridesmaids {the movie} Parisian “Girls Night In” Printable Promotion was launched at Target, we had a huge demand from clients for a birthday party package in the same theme. Because of our project agreement with Universal, we had to wait until the fabulous Target promotion expired to launch a new version of the Parisian themed designs.
The sweetest little girl would be the one to receive the first Paris Party using our new Paris Party Printables…. the daughter of our dear friend and collaborative partner, Mandie of Got What it Cakes. Bella is just the sweetest and so deserving of a beautiful party!
We are thrilled to share with you Mandie’s party details and photos.
The first piece of eye candy sets the tone for the entire event…. the Cake! Mandie makes the most gorgeous cakes (and they are even more tasty!) Gorgeous, right!? What little girl wouldn’t die to have this cake at her party!?

Mandie’s friends photographed the event. Kristi of KCP Photography and Megan of So Bella Photography.
Adria and I brought some of our key pieces from the Parisian girls night in (for Bridesmaids, the movie) photo shoot. The main focal point is the butterfly backdrop. The new Paris collection in our shop includes the templates to make your own! Super easy!

Mandie used our backdrop fabric from our Glam New Years Eve collection for the table to add even more of a Parisian Glam feel.

The desserts were stunning (of course! Since Mandie makes them all herself!). The cupcakes were adorned with printable cupcake toppers from our new collection and ruffles, of course.

Mandie’s little girl, Bella, is just the sweetest and was so appreciative of all of her mom’s hard work! Mandie is known for her cupcakes and so she made little “french macarons” using mini cupcake tops. So cute and kid friendly.

Mandie painted a cute sign for her front door…

Mandie also made these GORGEOUS cookies for take home favors for the girls. (Twine from The Twinery)
When the girls first arrived, they received a passport and suitcase for their “trip to Paris.”

The tables for the girls were setup with little damask suit cases (from Polka Dot Market, of course!). Also, each girl got a printed Parisian Passport (available in our shop!) that had several pages with coloring activities and stickers.

Each suitcase was the favor and so we personalized the favor tags with each girls name. They were tied onto the luggage cases with twine (from The Twinery)

Inside, the girls had a cute makeup pouch and stickers, crayons, nail polish and more. They had so much fun coloring their passports with the crayons and embellishing it with their stickers. This was a super simple activity for the children.
Everything was dressed up with printables from the Parisian collection.

Mandie made these cute swag bag lunches for the girls…. so creative!

Drinks were dressed up, too!

I love the feathers decor on the favor table…. Again, those beautiful cookies were by Mandie / Got What It Cakes!

More gorgeous shots…

I almost forgot – the cake topper is an Eiffel tower from Paris! One of Mandie’s friends happened to be in Paris when the party was being planned and brought this beautiful topper home!

Mandie’s girls were so cute dressed up in their tutus and leotards!

All of Bella’s friends waited to play the games….
Pin the butterfly on the Eiffel Tower was a hit! It made for a cute poster, too, during the party. (Available in our new printable Parisian collection)

Bella loved opening her gorgeous gifts from her little friends… what joy!

Some behind the scenes pics… and A little Anders Ruff sandwich never did any harm….

Great job, Mandie! We had so much fun helping you celebrate Bella’s 5th Birthday with style!

The Paris Party printables are now available in the shop!

What a gorgeous party!I love those suitcases! The cake is beautiful!
Really impressive stuff. What girl wouldn’t love it?
A five year old.
actually theresa, isabella was the one who asked for a birthday party that was “all about the eiffel tower” as she’s been obsessed with it as long as i can remember. we had a landmark puzzle when she was a baby, and she would hold the pieces with the eiffel tower, and the statue of liberty all day long. so it was awesome to try to bring paris to her for her party. her smiles say it all! and 6 months later, she’s still talking about her party. so i’m pretty sure she loved it. thanks!
I love the “ruffles” around the cupcake toppers. How do you make them?
Hi! If you check out our RUFF draft tutorial here, you can follow the steps – super easy!

I will be doing a Paris themed party for DD on the 12th and love what I see here! I was wondering, where did those chair covers come from? Were they made or purchased? Thanks!
Hi! Those were made by Mandie’s mom. SO easy! Just a rectangle of fabric sewn on 3 sides like a pillow case cover
Best of luck!!!
Love love love this party theme! Where did you get the napkins from?
Hi! Hobby Lobby is where Mandie got them… and then we added a printable to make the wrap. Thanks!
Hi im doing a birthday party, where did you get the fabric for the backdrop,The pink stripes! thanks!
Hi! We got it locally at a small fabric store in Gastonia, NC. You could google “pink striped fabric” and I’m sure loads will show up. Best of luck!
I’ve looked high and low to find pink and white fabric with wide stripes and cannot seem to find it anywhere!! Where did you get the fabric for backdrop?
Hi there!
We got it at Mary Jo’s Cloth Store in Gastonia, NC. Wish I could help with an online source but we don’t know of any. Sorry!
Love this party. My daughter is turning 10 and wants to do this. What did you serve at the tables? Was it the desserts or did you have a meal? Also any game ideas for 10 year olds? Not sure if they would go for the pin the butterflies.
carrie, we did serve lunch! it was inside the “swag bags” and it continued our parisian theme with Peanut butter and jelly on baguettes, cheese and crackers, and grapes. i served the adults at the party two different quiches, brie and crackers, and grapes. hope that helps!!! xo
as for the games for 10 year olds…paris is known for its shopping, fashion, and being the city of lights. so i’m thinking of decorating berets (jewels, etc.), making jewelry, or customizing lamp shades (frill, bling, fabric cutouts, etc.?) good luck, and let me know how it goes!
How did you make the cookies? Where can I find that design? I’m planning a surprise Parisian themed 50th birthday for my mother and would LOVE to make those!
Hi Chris! Our baker, Mandie of Got What It Cakes, made these for her daughter’s party. She used a stencil and royal black icing! So cute, right!?
hi chris! i made them using a stencil i bought from designer stencils. if you shoot me an email, i’ll send you the link! mandie{at}gotwhatitcakes{dot}com!

hi stephanie!
we wrap the fabric around flexible boarding that we buy at home depot. it’s sturdy enough to staple, but light and flexible enough to get in the car.
